A YEAR OF TEES
I’ve been obsessed with T-shirt graphics ever since my favourite Goonies tee got washed into oblivion in the late ’80s. In 2010, I took that obsession to the next level - designing one T-shirt every single day for a year. Each day, I created a new design, uploaded it, shared it, took requests, printed on demand, and chronicled the whole thing online. It was part design marathon, part social experiment, and 100% exhausting.
The project was featured on It’s Nice That and a bunch of design blogs I still can’t believe noticed. The shirts were even stocked in Topshop and HMV. It seemed like a good idea at the time. And honestly? It kind of was.
